Wonder why HP did use Gen8 instead of G8 for its 8th generation of servers?

HP has been using G1, G2, G6 etc to indicate the generation of their servers. However starting with the 8th generation HP is using Gen8 instead of G8. Wonder why HP decided to use Gen8 instead? Because G8 is used in Chinese language for penis. Particular in instant messaging services. It is the same sort of abbreviation as LOL, RTFM etc . See also Wikipedia
